15/06/2017

The Board of Directors of Proximus approved the appointment of Guillaume Boutin as new Chief Consumer Market Officer and member of the Executive Committee. As from begin of September, he will replace Phillip Vandervoort who left Proximus last February to pursue a new career path.

Guillaume Boutin joins Proximus from Canal+ Group, where he is Chief Marketing Officer since 2015. Holding a Master Degree in business management and an Executive MBA, Guillaume Boutin gained professional experience as a strategy consultant at the beginning of his career and as an entrepreneur, he then joined SFR where he successively held the positions of Director Chairman Office, CFO and Chief Marketing Officer, until he joined Canal+ in 2015.

I am particularly delighted to inform you that Guillaume Boutin will join our Executive Committee as Chief Consumer Market Officer. Agile and with a very strong mix of strategic, financial and marketing experiences in the telecom and the media sectors in France, Guillaume has gained a very deep knowledge and understanding of market dynamics and business models, qualities which will be of utmost importance in his position as Chief Consumer Market Officer. I am therefore convinced that his role as member of our Executive Committee as well as head of the Consumer business unit will be of key importance to help us face our challenges and opportunities and continue delivering strong results.
