Proximus acquiring majority interest in Route Mobile
- 29 April 2024 - update: Following its press release of 17 July 2023, Proximus Group announces that it has completed the mandatory tender offer towards public shareholders of Route Mobile on 26 April, resulting in the acquisition of 24.99% shareholding in Route Mobile. The closing of the transaction is expected in the first half of May 2024.
- March 12th 2024 - update: Proximus obtained all regulatory and antitrust clearances of the 11 countries involved, and the process is on track towards a closing in May 2024. Proximus will update the market at closing with a press release, and a dedicated webcast covering Proximus International will follow afterwards.
- July 17th 2023 - Announcement of agreement to acquire a majority stake in Route Mobile
