Cyclo-cross Superprestige returns to Proximus TV

The Superprestige, a regularity criterium in cyclo-cross racing, will return to Proximus TV on 2 October, and can be viewed for free. This is the result of a judgment by the Brussels Court of Appeal of 7 September, confirming the measure imposed by the Belgian Competition Authority. This measure ordered an end to the exclusivity of the Superprestige for Telenet, at Proximus' request. Telenet had acquired the rights to the Superprestige after taking over De Vijver Media (including channels such as Vier and Vijf).
We are happy that we can, once again, offer a host of top competitions to hundreds of thousands of cyclo-cross fans. Everyone will be able to watch world champion Wout Van Aert on Proximus TV for free, as he attempts to win the Superprestige again. Besides last year's Superprestige, Van Aert also won two other major regularity criteriums: the World Cup and the BPost Trophy (now called the DVV Verzekeringen Trophy).
8 cyclo-cross races from 2 October
From 2 October, cyclo-cross fans can watch the 8 competitions of the Hansgrohe Superprestige. The DVV Verzekeringen Trophy can be watched on Sporza (VRT). With the Proximus TV app, fans can also follow the race on the ground.
