Proximus further extends its collaboration in Cyber Security with NATO
Industry Partnership Agreement signed with NATO Communications and Information Agency
Proximus announces a closer collaboration with the NATO Communications and Information (NCI) Agency in Cyber Security, after CEO Dominique Leroy signed a Cyber Partnership Agreement. The NCI Agency is responsible for operating and defending NATO’s networks.
For several years already, the Proximus Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) has been exchanging cyber threat information with its European peers, to protect Proximus’ infrastructure and its customers. This will now be extended through the Cyber Partnership Agreement with NATO.
To build trust in our digital economy, it’s important that all actors continue to raise the cyber resilience. Today’s threat actors are global and sophisticated cyber threats are rapidly increasing. In such context, trustworthy collaboration between major players is key. That’s why this Cyber Partnership between NATO and Proximus will help both organizations to better protect their customers and critical infrastructure.
The focus of this agreement with NATO will be primarily on bilateral exchange on cyber threat intelligence. It is of utmost importance that we share relevant information, in order to protect our critical infrastructure.
