Renewed collaboration between VRT and Proximus to strengthen the local media ecosystem
VRT and Proximus have agreed to renew and reinforce their collaboration on the distribution of the VRT channels and content in Proximus' digital TV offer. Through this renewed collaboration, VRT and Proximus – thanks to the new Proximus Pickx platform – want to respond to the ongoing evolution of media consumption habits.
Proximus’ new tv experience will put local content and channels, including those of VRT, in the spotlight and ensure that users can discover them at a glance in an intuitive interface. VRT and Proximus will also continue to work together to further improve the overall consumer experience, both in terms of how the VRT content is presented on Proximus' Pickx platform, and with regard to events such as concerts and festivals.
This reinforced collaboration will allow Proximus and VRT to forge even closer ties and therefore contribute to the creation of a stronger local ecosystem.
