Proximus receives EcoVadis Platinum medal for the second consecutive year

Proximus has once again been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum medal for its sustainability efforts. This highest recognition places us in the top 1% of the best-performing companies worldwide evaluated by EcoVadis.

What is EcoVadis?

EcoVadis is an independent organization that assesses companies worldwide on their sustainability policies and performance. The evaluation is based on international standards and covers four areas: environment, labor & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The Platinum label is the highest distinction and is only awarded to organizations with exceptional performance across all categories

Sustainability embedded in our strategy

Sustainability has been at the core of our business strategy for years and is integrated into our mission. It goes beyond our commitment to addressing climate change: we collaborate with suppliers, uphold the highest ethical standards, and foster an inclusive and motivating work environment for our employees. This approach translates into concrete initiatives, ranging from sustainable procurement to reducing our CO₂ emissions and extending the lifespan of products and materials.

This recognition is the result of years of consistent effort across our entire organization.

It shows that sustainability is truly embedded in the way we do business, from collaborating with our suppliers to fostering an inclusive workplace. The EcoVadis Platinum medal reinforces our position as a leader in sustainable business, builds trust with partners and customers, and inspires us to keep raising the bar.

Recognized for continued progress

The transition from silver to platinum in 2024 was the result of significant efforts, and maintaining the platinum status in 2025 confirms our ongoing progress. With an overall score of 84%, EcoVadis highlights that Proximus excels in all four evaluation areas. We refined our policies and processes, strengthened sustainable procurement as standard practice, and took further steps toward our ambitious emission reduction targets.
