Proximus Group completes the sale of its majority stake in Be-Mobile
Proximus Group announces the closing of the sale of its stake in Be-Mobile nv/sa to the global mobility platform Arrive. Following this transaction, Proximus Group reconfirms its 2027 asset divestment target of ‘up to EUR 600 million’.
In June, Proximus Group announced it had reached a binding agreement with the global provider of digital parking and mobility solutions Arrive, regarding the sale of its 92.7% stake in Be-Mobile.
After having obtained the approval from the Belgian screening authority for Foreign Direct Investment (ISC), all the regulatory conditions precedent were met. The parties have therefore proceeded to the closing of the transaction on 2 October. Proximus Group has received the proceeds in the meantime.
When the agreement was announced, Proximus had already raised its asset divestment target to ‘up to EUR 600 million’ over the 2023-2027 period. Having reached its initial EUR 500 million divestment target two years earlier than planned, Proximus Group is confident to reiterate this commitment.
