Proximus adapts its Pay&Go+ prepaid offer to include significantly more mobile data for online top-ups
Proximus customers with a Pay&Go+ prepaid card who top up via the website or the MyProximus app will receive much more mobile data as of 1 March 2019. For a top-up of 15 euros, the included data volume even increases to 6 times as much as today.
In practice, the top-up bonuses will be adapted as follows:
- €10 top-up: on top of their credit, customers receive 10 call minutes, 500 texts, 100 MB of mobile data for offline reloads and 500 MB if topping up online.
- €15 top-up: on top of their credit, customers receive 20 call minutes, unlimited texts, 250 MB of mobile data for offline reloads and 3 GB if topping up online.
- €25 top-up: on top of their credit, customers receive 50 call minutes, unlimited texts, 500 MB of mobile data for offline reloads and 5 GB if topping up online.
For the activation of a new €10 card, customers receive a one-time volume of 3 GB of extra data. The additional data options, which are activated via MyProximus by exchanging credit on the card, will also become more attractive. In exchange for €6 credit, the customer receives 500 MB, and for €12 credit the customer receives 3 GB. Both bonuses and data options remain valid for 31 days.
With these changes, Proximus wants to respond to the growing data usage and anticipate the changing usage habits of customers, who increasingly want to share experiences and access audio and video content on any screen. The revamped Pay&Go+ is aimed at eliminating worries about data usage for prepaid customers: people who top up online for €15 - the most popular top-up in the Proximus range - and then use €12 of their credit to activate the data option, can count on 6 GB for worry-free streaming and sharing.
The changes become effective on 1 March 2019. From then on, existing Pay&Go+ customers can automatically benefit from the new top-up bonuses and options as well.
