Proximus introduces new mobile plans, Proximus Mobile and Business Mobile, with significantly more data

As of 2 May, Proximus launches a new portfolio of mobile postpaid plans. With Proximus Mobile and Business Mobile, residential and business customers can more than ever count on extensive data volumes, allowing them to surf, stream and communicate without worries.

Customers today are increasingly eager to share photos and videos on social media, watch movies and series and use their mobile device to work on the go or participate in videocalls. They want to be connected anywhere and anytime, effortlessly and without having to worry about their data usage. This is reflected in the data consumption, which continues to grow year after year. Over the last three years, the average monthly data usage per postpaid customer has doubled in three years. To meet these evolving needs and make sure all customers are set for the years to come, Proximus is renewing its mobile offer for residential and business customers starting 2 May 2023.

What are the changes for residential customers?

In the new offer, residential customers will have the choice between four different Proximus Mobile tariff plans, with increased mobile data volumes and higher speeds thanks to the progressive roll-out of Proximus' 5G network:

  • Mobile Essential: 5 GB of mobile data on top of unlimited texts and 150 call minutes, for €16,99 per month.
  • Mobile Easy: 10 GB of mobile data as well as unlimited calls and texts for €19,99 per month. Mobile Easy customers get access to Proximus' 5G network, with speeds up to 200 Mbps.
  • Mobile Maxi: 50 GB of mobile data as well as unlimited calls and texts for €29,99 per month. Mobile Maxi customers can experience 5G speeds up to 500 Mbps.
  • Mobile Unlimited: the all-unlimited subscription, with unlimited data, calls and texts for €49,99 per month. Mobile Unlimited customers can experience 5G speeds up to 1 GBps.

Current Mobilus plans will no longer be commercialized. Existing customers can keep their current tariff plan or easily request to switch to one of the new plans.

For residential customers who have their mobile subscription in a pack, there's more good news. The data volumes included in Flex packs will increase significantly. For Mobile Flex S, the data volume doubles from 5 GB to 10 GB, while the data volume for Mobile Flex M more than triples, from 20 GB to 75 GB. With Mobile Flex Unlimited, a new all-unlimited plan at a more attractive price will be introduced for the most intensive users. Customers who add different mobile plans to a pack, continue to benefit from a 5€ multimobile advantage from the 2nd mobile.

What are the changes for small enterprises?

The mobile offer for small businesses undergoes similar changes. As of 2 May, these customers will be able to choose between the following mobile plans:

  • Business Mobile Essential: 5 GB of mobile data + unlimited texts + 120 call minutes & unlimited calls to fixed lines and colleagues for €14 per month (excl. VAT).
