Proximus’ fiber network once again awarded by nPerf and Ookla®
Good news for the nearly 2.5 million Belgian homes and businesses that can already be connected to the Proximus fiber network. For the second year in a row, Proximus' fiber network received international recognition for its outstanding performance from two renowned organizations specializing in measuring network quality and speed. According to nPerf's Fixed Internet Connections Barometer, fiber enables significantly higher speeds compared to other technologies. Proximus' fiber network delivers the best fixed Internet performance in Belgium. New this year: Ookla® also recognizes Proximus’ fiber network as the most stable in Belgium, in addition to naming it the fastest in the country.
nPerf Award in the "Best Fixed Internet Performance" category
nPerf, an independent French company offering end-to-end solutions for testing and analyzing network performance, has once again published its annual "Fixed Internet Connections Barometer". Based on thousands of speed tests, nPerf Awards are granted per country. As in 2024, Proximus' fiber network emerges as the winner, as it allows much higher speeds compared to other technologies. Proximus once again achieves the best results for Wi-Fi performance and ultra-high-speed connections (download speeds over 100 Mbps).

Ookla® names Proximus' fiber network the fastest and most stable Internet
For the second year in a row, Proximus' fiber network has won the Ookla® Speedtest Award for the fastest fixed network in Belgium. This award is based on more than 5 million fixed network connection tests, initiated by users across different providers and carried out via various applications.
Measurements of download and upload speeds on Proximus fiber are significantly higher than those recorded on competitors' networks. New this year is the fact that Speedtest Verified by Ookla®, one of the world's leading providers of data insights on connectivity, has also designated Proximus' fiber network as the most stable.

Once again, recognition by Ookla® and nPerf of the speed and performance of our fiber network confirms the strength of our investments in fiber and advanced Wi-Fi technologies. This enables us to continue offering our customers the best possible connectivity. Today, nearly 2.5 million Belgian homes and businesses can be connected to the Proximus fiber network, representing coverage of 41% of the population.
