Belgian and international top-level football to return to Proximus in August
While the world is still captivated by the World Cup, the new Jupiler Pro League season is set to kick off in just six weeks. After a one-year absence, Belgian football is making its comeback on Pickx. All matches will be broadcast live on the DAZN channels as part of the revamped TV option "Sports", available for €24.99 per month. The international sports offer is also evolving: customers will again be able to enjoy matches from Ligue 1, La Liga and Serie A, as well as the NFL and the NBA. The Premier League and Bundesliga will no longer be part of the offer.
A new season, with the return of the Jupiler Pro League on Pickx
On 7 August, Club Brugge and KV Kortrijk will kick off the new football season. Thanks to the agreement Proximus has reached with DAZN, football fans will have front-row access to the action on Pickx again. From 1 July, customers with the revamped TV option "Sports" or the TV option "All-in" will have access to four DAZN channels: two channels fully dedicated to Belgian football, covering 100% of the Jupiler Pro League (channel numbers 111 and 112), and two channels for international competitions, with a selection of matches from Ligue 1, La Liga, Serie A, the NFL and the NBA (channel numbers 121 and 122).
Access to the full DAZN Total offer, with even more international matches and additional Pro League content available exclusively through the DAZN app, will be included in the TV option "Sports" at no extra cost by the end of the year.
A wide range of top-level sports, including the UEFA Champions League
In addition, customers will still be able to enjoy the UEFA Champions League during the 2026–2027 season. Proximus will once again broadcast all matches from the League Phase through to the final, as the only operator in Belgium to offer full coverage. Football fans can once again count on the professional coverage, analysis and additional content they are familiar with. Discussions with the new rights holder are still ongoing for the following seasons.
A wide range of top-level sports content, including tennis, cycling, motor sports and snooker, completes the offer.
The Premier League and Bundesliga will no longer be part of the offer. The agreement with Telenet, which enabled Proximus to offer matches from the English and German leagues last season, will expire at the end of June and will not be renewed.
What do these changes mean for customers in practical terms?
The base price for the revamped TV option "Sports" is €24.99 per month, excluding temporary promotions. The temporary discounted rate of €14.99, granted to compensate for the absence of DAZN content, will remain valid until 31 July. From August, the new rate will appear automatically on the bill.
Following the changes, the price of the TV option "All-in" will be set at €49.99 per month. Here too, customers will benefit from a temporary discount until the end of July.
With the revamped TV option "Sports", we are once again offering a strong sports line-up: more Belgian matches, a strong selection of international matches and everything clearly organized in one place. We are pleased that, after intense negotiations, we have succeeded in reaching an agreement that allows us to offer Belgian football to our customers again at a reasonable price.
