Proximus and Eleven Sports sign 5 years deal on Belgian football

Proximus is proud to announce to its customers that an agreement has been reached for the distribution of Eleven Sports’ new Pro League channels covering all live Belgian football matches (Jupiler Pro League and D1B) on all their screens via Pickx for the next 5 seasons. This new distribution agreement with Eleven comes on top of the rights to all UEFA Champions League matches and the distribution of the existing Eleven Sports channels broadcasting the biggest European football championships and numerous international competitions. Proximus customers will therefore continue to be able to enjoy an extremely comprehensive sports offer from the start of the season through the All Sports offer, the price of which will remain unchanged.

From August 2020, Eleven's three new channels dedicated to Belgian football will be added to Proximus' All Sports offer. You will find them at 111, 112 and 113.

Thanks to this agreement, Proximus customers will be able to continue to follow the entire Jupiler Pro League and the D1B, but also the Women's Super League, the Supercup and the Proximus eProleague for the next 5 seasons. As far as international football is concerned, next season also offers them front row seats to the three existing Eleven Sports channels that broadcast the biggest European football championships, and a chance to admire the talents of a good majority of our Red Devils (La Liga Española with Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois, the Italian Serie A with Romelu Lukaku and Dries Mertens, the FA Cup with Kevin De Bruyne or the Bundesliga with the trio Meunier, Witsel and Thorgan Hazard). Coverage of many prestigious international competitions such as the NBA, NFL and UFC is included.

As for the UEFA Champions League, it will still be broadcast in its entirety exclusively on Proximus Sports.

In fact, this sports offer will be one of the most generous on the market and above all available on all screens thanks to the Pickx platform.

Guillaume Collard, Managing Director Eleven Sports Belgium & Luxemburg and Head of Acquisitions Eleven Sports Group

"This agreement is in line with the strategic partnership that Eleven has set up with Proximus, since the launch of the Eleven channels in 2015. Since then, Eleven's offer has only grown, with Belgian football as its latest acquisition. We are therefore very proud to be able to share these new channels but also to have a partnership around e-sport."
